Vanilla- Chocolate layered Cake

Many of us prefers to bake a cake at home. 1 of the reason behind it is, we like baking it with our friends and another main reason is we can adjust fat and sugar according to our taste. My reason behind baking is I love baking. My passion of experimenting, leads me to experiment a layered cake at home. This  is completely my idea of creation, so please feel free to give it a try at your home. I made different batters for different layers of cake, so here I will be giving you the ingredients of those different layers. As I have mentioned in my earlier posts, about my love of egg, so again wanted to make something which is not common. This is totally my idea, so apologies if u do not like the idea. But, since I loved the taste so sharing it with you guys. Feel free to make and share with your friends and loved ones. It can be made instantly, without any earlier preparations. Egg Lovers will definitely love them. Preparation Time - 5-7 minutes Cook time- 15 minutes Ingredients for 2 people-  Potato - 2 (boiled) Bread - 4 pieces Onion - 1/2 ( big and chopped) Oil to fry Potato mixture - 2 tbsp Green Chilli - 2 (slited) Salt to taste Aamchur Powder - 1 tsp Red chilli flakes  -  1tsp Egg - 2  Oil to fry rolls - 1cup Directions - Mashed Potato In a pan, add oil, heat it and add chopped onions and slit green chilli, fry till it turns light brown in color or looks transparent. Alu ke Paranthe (Potato Tortilla)

As a Child, I was a picky eater. Always say no to food and it became tough for my mom. My mom who is an excellent cook, always looks for some or the other alternatives for my dinner. I still remember, when she is not able to convince me for eating regular dinner, she makes "Alu ke paranthe" especially for me. Now, being a mom, I understand it is a big responsibility of raising a child, and also it becomes so painful for mother, when child do not want to eat a regular dinner. So, now every time I make food, I keep my little one in mind, and make dishes which is approved by her. One more thing which I have understood from my experience, kids love varieties. Hello Guys, how are you all this thanksgiving? I hope everyone had a great thanksgiving day. Thanksgiving is said to be a day to say thanks to anyone or everyone, to whom you are grateful for anything or something. I am thankful to all my friends and family over here, who have encouraged enough that my love for cooking turn into a my love for sharing the recipes. In India, lot of people do not eat Onion and Garlic. Some of them do not eat on some festivals, and some of them do not eat Garlic- Onions through out their life time. For some people, it is because their culture do not allow them to do so. Diwali (Deepon ka Tyohar)- A festival of lights. It is 1 of the important festivals of the year and is celebrated in families by performing traditional activities together in their homes. Every Year Diwali falls in between mid-October to mid- November, and this year it fall on 13th Nov. We celebrate Diwali by lighting each and every corner of the house, make sweets at home, offer sweets to god, worship them, and pray for well-being of every one at home. This year, like past year I again made some Namak- paare or Nimki , Sakarpaare and a famous BaluSahi. Since, Balusahi was appreciated by all my family and friends. So here I am, sharing a recipe with you guys. Today's Morning was a lazy 1. My DD was not well, day before yes'day, so thought of making something light, which is also good for her too. I thought if she wants to have something light, she can have bread, or if she wants she can also have plain rice with some salt and yogurt. I thought of making Rajma - Roti/ Tortilla for our dinner. I soaked the Beans in the morning, was thinking of boiling them. At that time, my DD return home from School and whoosh, she saw Beans soaked and her song started, " Mamma, I want Bean Taco, Mamma, I want Bean Taco,.........." I can't even explain you guys, how many times she repeated this particular sentence in 5 minutes. I seriously wonder, how our little ones learn to convince their moms. At the Corner of the street, 3 men are standing with their handcart. All of them are ha ving all types of Chat. They do all preparation, and when we want to eat, we just go to them and ask for our favorite chat. When I was doing my Graduation Degree, n ext to my hostel, was a street and on that street, there was a row of people, who are standing with their Handcart and are selling all types of chat and Gol-Gappe. Everyday, me and my friends we use to have our favorite chats there as an evening snacks. I really miss those days and those yummy spicy and crunchy chat. Jalebi is one of the most famous sweet dish of India. It is one of those dishes which is loved by everybody, younger or elder. Every member of family loves to enjoy Jalebi's and when it comes in a combination of Rabri, it is the best sweet dish ever. In every sweet shops, we get jalebi. There are few varieties of Jalebi, and among them the most common is known as Jalebi and Imrati. The recipe of Imrati will also be following shortly. Right now, just talk about Jalebi. I still remember, when we were small, me and my siblings, we use to wait for Independence Day and Republic Day, as we get the hot jalebis on this particular day.
